About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Lead Java Developer to architect, design, and develop scalable, cloud-
native applications. The ideal candidate will drive the implementation of microservices using Java and AWS
technologies, ensuring high-quality delivery while mentoring engineering teams and establishing best
practices.
Responsibilities
• Lead the design and development of microservices-based platforms using Java (Spring Boot),
deployed via AWS Fargate, Lambda, and API Gateway.
• Define and drive solution architecture in partnership with enterprise architects for critical business
services.
• Manage backend workflows using AWS Step Functions and enable event-driven communication via
EventBridge.
• Oversee technical delivery across multiple Agile workstreams, collaborating closely with product
owners, DevOps, and cross-functional teams.
• Establish and uphold best practices in coding standards, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, CodePipeline), and
application observability (CloudWatch).
• Implement enterprise-grade security protocols, including Amazon Cognito, JWT, and OAuth 2.0 for
secure authentication and authorization.

Required Skills & Experience:
• 8–12 years of backend development experience with strong expertise in Java 11+, Spring Boot, and
RESTful API design.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services:
• Fargate, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Aurora (PostgreSQL), S3, Step Functions, Cognito.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and domain-driven design
principles.
• Proven leadership in mentoring development teams, technical solutioning, sprint planning, and
stakeholder engagement.
• Proficient in DevOps and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, along with
containerization (Docker) and monitoring via CloudWatch.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with headless CMS platforms like Strapi or Contentful.
• Knowledge of integrating third-party platforms such as Zendesk, Salesforce, HubSpot.
• AWS Certification (Developer, Solutions Architect – Associate or above) is a plus.
