Design Associate

Job Title: Design Associate
Location: Gurgaon
Department: Design Studio
Key Responsibilities:
• Detailing and execution from concept design.
• Develop custom designed products such as furniture + feature elements &
equipment etc. for workspaces in medium and large-scale corporate projects.
• Understand individual client/stakeholder needs to develop exceptional interior
design concepts with considerations to parameters including functionality,
aesthetic preferences, sustainability, and budget.
• Coordinate with 3D Visualizers for developing realistic and high-Quality 3D visuals.
• Prepare detailed drawings, supervise the implementation of works contracts,
supervise performance of consultants and carry out related studies & research.
• Maintain a design digital library of FF&E, vendors, catalogues, samples etc.
• Research and recommend leading industrial standards, global issues and design
trends to inform the design concepts in the post pandemic scenario.
• Get shop drawings of MEP vendors & civil contractors
Required Qualifications & Skills:
• Experience:
o 2-3 yrs of work experience in Interior/ Architectural Design
• Educational Background:
o B.Arch is preferred
• Technical Skills:
o In-depth knowledge of FF&E, materials, textures, finishes, color & joinery
details
o High Proficiency in drafting with AutoCAD

o Highly Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign & Illustrator)
o Ability in 3D modelling software- Sketch Up.
o Flair for design detecting
o Good understanding of ergonomics & anthropometry in workspace design
o Creative problem solving & innovation
o Detail oriented, efficient, adaptable to changing deadlines and priorities
o The ideal candidate must be quality driven, visual thinker, creative &
resourceful
o Ability to communicate & work well collaboratively
o Excellent presentation skills- visual & verbal
o Should be display strong construction detection understanding
o Working knowledge of MEP Design
