Job Summary:
We are seeking a Drone Researcher focused on building hardware, AI/ML, swarm
coordination, and next-gen civil drone applications. This role will be central to developing
autonomous systems that power multi-drone fleets for logistics, surveying, or emergency
response & many more interesting applications. If you’ve ever wanted to build flying robots
that talk to each other and act intelligently — this is your runway.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Autonomous Systems Research
a. Design and develop AI/ML models for drone navigation, object detection, and
flight path optimization
b. Build and simulate swarm behavior for coordinated drone operations
2. Systems Development
a. Prototype and test mission planning engines, fleet control protocols, and real-time
decision systems
b. Integrate drone hardware with AI software, edge compute units, and low-latency
communication stacks
3. Applied Innovation
a. Design proof-of-concept missions for logistics delivery, disaster response, or
infrastructure monitoring
b. Conduct field trials and iterate on autonomous flight performance
4. Collaboration & Mentoring
a. Work closely with hardware engineers, training faculty, and drone operators
b. Mentor interns, students, or fellows working on AI or autonomous systems
5. Documentation & Dissemination
a. Maintain clear technical records and experimental logs
b. Present research in internal reviews, industry meets, or academic conferences

Qualifications:
1. Currently working on a drone project, both hardware & software shall qualify
2. Experience / Degree in Robotics, AI, Aerospace, Computer Science, or a related field
3. Strong foundation in Python, C++, and AI libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV,
etc.)
4. Passionate about flying, learning, and building things that move through the sky
